The myth about clone golf clubs
A guy at a local clubmaking shop was telling me that clones are just as good as the real thing. He said if you go to one of the foundrys in Asia where they make brand name clubheads (Taylor Made, Callaway, Titlest etc.) you will find clones going down a parallel assembly line.

Hogwash...... I would agree.
They are not made in the same foundries, as most OEM companies will have very strongly policed contracts with specific foundries to not do so. If it is discovered that the foundry is making clones as well, the OEM's will send their work else where.
